About the Project

Five kids. One dream. All they want is to go to high school.

Believe it or not, high school is not a given in Ghana, West Africa. It is not free, and many children never have the opportunity to progress beyond junior high-- if they get that far at all.

At New Life International Children's Home, dedicated Ghanaians have given everything to ensure the most vulnerable children have a home and a basic education. However, in order to send the oldest children to high school, they need your help.

Daniel, Michael, Grace, Abraham, and Joseph-- the Star Kids-- are excited to take the next step that could change their lives.

All high schools in Ghana are boarding schools, so the students will need certain items to live on in addition to their tuition and boarding fees. To send all five students to school for their first term is only $5,187. This includes the one-time fee for supplies they will need when moving into the boarding house.
For Grace (because she will need a few more items), the total sponsorship fee for the first term is $1,096.
For each of the four boys, it is $1,034.
Each additional term is $312.50 per student for their continued education. Terms go from September-December, January-March, and April-July. For only $78 a month ($938 a year), you can help a child gain the education necessary to succeed in their world.

Are you ready to take a step to help them achieve their goals? Whether you sponsor one of them completely for a year, give five dollars, or post our button on your blog to spread the word, you're helping. And all these five kids need is just a little help so they can Reach for the Stars.
